where to buy new battery?

What's up with the Lenovo site? It won't even let me buy a battery from them... many of their links appear not to work...

I want to buy a new 9 cell battery for my T41. I take it the more recently the battery was manufactured, the longer it will last (other things being equal). Can some people recommend some places that are good for buying IBM T41 batteries? Do some stores/sellers have more of a reputation for selling older-new batteries that have been sitting on a shelf for a while than other stores/sellers?

Any suggestions welcome!

However, I am still left with the question of whether any particular ebay sellers have better or worse reputations for selling new batteries that were manufactured either fairly recently or a good while ago. For better or worse, I tend buy from nationwide companies rather than individuals through ebay. Could someone give me info to go one way rather than another?

Does anyone have any good or bad battery purchase experiences to share about particular stores or ebay sellers? Please share...
