#1 Post by freddy418 » Thu Nov 02, 2006 1:00 pm

Up for sale is like new Thinkpad T60P, it is in pristine condition, the tape hasn't even even peeled off of the infrared port. I'm moving it because it is just a bit too heavy for me to take to classes.

The specs:

14.1" SXGA+ Samsung LCD - no dead pixels
Core 2 Duo T7200 2GHz Processor
1GB PC2-5300 DDR2 667 RAM
FireGL V5200 256MB Graphics
Hitachi Travelstar 7K100 60GB 7200RPM HDD
Matsushida UJ-842 Ultrabay Slim DVD-RW
Thinkpad (Atheros) ABG Wireless Lan Card
Bluetooth and Fingerprint Reader
6 Cell Battery

Comes with the 90W Power Adaptor and extra Trackpoint caps, Asking $1700 + $35 UPS shipping to the CONUS

Post or PM me if interested, thanks for looking.

Wow.. how heavy is your lappy with all that, powersupply and laptop?

im getting a t60p soon, and im moving away from a Desktop replacement laptop that is 14 lbs and powersupply is 5. this will be lighter for me, regardless.

i laughed my a$$ off when you said it was too heavy for you. Ive been dragging this thing around the world for 2 years.

It can't be that old. Can't you just return it for a refund?

Incidentally, I've ordered an X60 C2D 2GHz 7200 100 GB. Perhaps this is what you need. Except for the graphics it is as powerfiul as your T60p.

I'm DROOLING for this machine. This is EXACTLY what I have had on my wish list for a while now.

You are absolutely right, a T2500 is indeed not a Core 2 Duo.

I did the upgrade myself, and the chip carries a 3 year warranty.

Where did you get T2500 from? He clearly states a T7200, which is a Core 2.

I feel your pain Brent, I feel your pain.

My hunkering right now is for a Sony KDF46E2000 - there is NO WAY that purchase will slide by the wife un-noticed.

[Oh, here is the credit card bill, Groceries - $400, Gas - $240, Eating out - $250, SONY 46" LCD TV - $2000 . . . everything seems fine, lets send out a check . . . ]

Oh, to hit the lottery . . .
