Dorm Setup

#1 Post by Miller88 » Thu Nov 02, 2006 7:26 pm

Here's my setup ...

Under the left side of the desk is my desktop PC and server PC.
I'm usually boxed in using the desktop and the laptop.

Well, if theres one thing that I dont dont look forward to in college is the cramped desk. I have two desks, one L and one normal, arranged into a U shape. Its not bad right now, since I only use 2 laptops, but my next desktop build is going to be insane, with 3 or 4 19" LCDs...hmm where do those go in college?

For me? On the ceiling with the mirrors over my bed. You can't imagine how great that is for work and study; relax and have fun while you work. Oh, yeah, it saves space too. :D

I think next year I'm going to pay extra and get my own room. It will be so much nicer. I already have it figured out how I would have it set up.

Is that Skynrd on the desktop background? I had it set at 16bit and thought I could see that, but then at 32bit your LCD is completely black...

edit: Ok I can see it now, but still it's weird that higher resolution makes it less clear.

@dsigma6, yep, it's Skynyrd.

@Gustavo, it is from the camping trip. Those chairs are the most comfortable thing for under 10 bucks.

About the mirrors...
I think it is safe to say that while Christopher might have a different major, he has always been a fan of Anatomy (of the female kind). Therefore, the mirrors should merely be considered a study aid. :lol:

Finally, another person who understands the rigors of a hard night's study session! :D

Anatomy is well within the scope of my majors, more of an integral part one could say. ;) :)
