For some reason if my laptop is idle for 30 minutes my wireless keeps on turning off. When I right click on the wireless icon on the lower right hand corner and click on Repair an error message pops up and says device not found. I have to do a FN and F5 and click on the change status button to turn on my wireless. After leaving it idle for 30 minutes the same thing happens.
Any solutions for this.
T60 wireless keeps turning off by itself after 30minutes
Remove Access Connections
Manually install
Power Manager Driver
Hotkey
Wireless Nic Driver.
Click start then control panel.
Double Click on System.
Click Hardware Tab
Click Device Manager.
Check the Properties of your wireless card. You will find it under Network Adapters. Expand that.
Remove the check to allow having windows control the power to the device.
See if that works.
Good Luck!
