T60 Fan issue

hi,
i know this is a frequent asked question, but is there any solution how we can reduce the fan working? bcd it's annoying that it works always and it also reduces the battery power... my t60 (2007 modell) has the latest bios update aswell... i'm looking forward for any (posible) solutions
T60 Large (14" 1400x1050,2gb,80gb,9cell bat, and advanced ultrabay battery)-->going to have a big x60 :D, Apple Powerbook G4, DesktopPC, Networkslave (dell optiplex as printserver) ->next upgrade: samsung mh80 120gb drive

There are 3 options:

1. Undervolt your CPU with NHC (your fan will still be working but less frequently)
2. Undervolt CPU in addition of using TPFanControl and enable Smart mode so that you configure the temp at which the fan should start spinning:

3. Do step 2 in addition of replacing the stock thermal compound the CPU has to reduce 3-5 degrees off your CPU (idle), let's say 5-8 degrees off when CPU is at load.
