Battery performance utility

#1 Post by gb » Sat Nov 04, 2006 11:18 am

I have installed BatteryMaximizer utility on my T23, but it doesn't show the cycle life or detail performance of the battery, only %capacity. Can you advice how to display more info?

Thanks

Is it a genuine battery or third party? Maximiser sometimes doesn't report the information of generic batteries (correctly). Anyway, do a deep cycle of the battery 1-3 times, maybe that will help.

IBM TP T41p (1.7G/1GB/100GB-7k100/DVD-CDRW/SXGA+/BT)
IBM TP T22 (900/512/40/DVD/CDRW/14")
IBM TP A31 (1.8GHz/512MB/40GB/DVD-CDRW/15" SXGA)
For sale: n/a
WTB: n/a

It is shows the percentage in tray and estimate the remaining capacity. If I open the program all I can do is just set power profile. Does it suppose to do more?

The battery is genuine IBM. Deep cycle mean fully discharge and charge back?

Left click on the battery maximizer icon on the taskbar and then click on battery information at the bottom of the pop-up menu. It should give you battery information page and the information you are looking for.
