I'm about to buy a T43 2668-46G s/n L3-WWGPF

Original description: P M 750(1.86GHz), 512MB RAM, 40GB 5400rpm HD, 14.1in 1400x1050 TFT LCD, 64MB ATI Radeon X300, CDRW/DVD, Intel 802.11bg wireless(MPCI), Modem(CDC), 1Gb Ethernet(LOM), UltraNav, Secure Chip, 6c Li-Ion batt, WinXP Pro

a dock is also included
And the battery has been recalled (so getting a new one :) )

he will sell it for 5.500kr ~ 941.39$ if i pick it up today.

is that an OK price?
BTW pc's/laptops/consoles are in general more expensive in denmark

The price sounds good.

What are you waiting for? Grab it then and check for any malfunctions before paying and remember to get your R&R disks.

I am now the proud owner of a Thinkpad t43.
yeeppiii :)

it is indeed a great laptop!!!

And it looks copmletly new, it must have been sitting in the dock it's entire liffe, coz the keyboard looks untouched.
the plastic film that covers the different leds haven't even been removed.

I didn't get the R&R discs though. are those important?
I asked for them, but he didn't have them. because he had bought the laptop through his company, all setup and whatnot. and now had bought a new one.

also this keyboard IS much better than other laptops I have tried!!

congrats!!

The R&R CDs can be created, if the hard drive still had the Rescue & Recovery partition. You can burn the CDs (6-7 CDs) and keep them in case the hard drive fails.

If the HD doesn't have it, then you can order it through IBM at a cost of $45.

This laptop is great. I wish my eyes were not so bad.

I am selling a very similar laptop, except with 1GB RAM, for $950.

You might have to pay $45 for them, but if you explain how you got it and that the HPA was blown away by the company's IT department, there is a good chance they will waive that fee. :)

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.
