USB 2 problem in Windows XP

Hey,

Suddenly my IBM t40 thinks that i only have USB 2 on my machine...

I have tried to update drivers and windows, bios and embedded program...

Any suggestions?

I would be very happy if my laptop thought that I had only USB 2.0 ports...my problem is my USB 2.0 ports are running at slower speed of USB 1.1 and this happened after I updated to Win XP SP2.

I think you miswrote your problem, I think your problem is your USB 2.0 ports are now running at USB 1.1 right? If so then please look at this thread...there is a rather tedious workaround that isn't permanent but does seem to work for me.

If slow USB speed isn't your problem, please accept my apologies and disregard the above...
