Fingerprint logon and Fast user switching

I've enabled fast user switching in the Control Center and also enabled fast user switching under user accounts in XP. However, after rebooting, fast user switching is diabled again. I go through this a few times and each time FUS is disabled.

Anyone have the same prob? I'm using a T42 with the latest Windows and Thinkpad updates.

I believe they're incompatible. If you want fast user switching, you can't use the CSS fingerprint logon schtuff.

Fast User Switching - This check box enables and disables fast user switching, (when supported on your system). When fast user switching is supported but not enabled, you will be asked to enable it on your system.
Fast user switching is not supported when Client Security Software is installed. Fast user switching cannot be enabled when computer is member of domain. Fast user switching cannot be enabled when secure mode is enabled

Hello,

You can use FUS and Fingerprint logon.

You can't use FUS and Security Chip.

When you get activated the Security Chip it replaces the Windows' authentication methods with IBM's own.

Deactivate security chip if you don't need the ultra-high-mega-secure hollywood's type environment.
