Just got this free ... she's a real performer. Right now it's got a locked BIOS (pulled the cmos battery for a few seconds, haven't checked again) and no hard drive or CD drive.

Anyway, I was wondering if there are any Linux that will run with 64mb ram and 450MHZ? I wanted to turn something into a linux box but didn't really have an extra computer here at college.

Does tinylinux include a web browser and like a productivity suite?

It does, but I'm not sure how useful it is. I would search for different linux distros for minimum hardware requirements, as I have only used Ubuntu. There is a Linux for ThinkPads section here, I suppose you could ask the basic question over there, and leave the Opitplex out of it.
