ATI X1400 w/12K8 showing as 512K?

ATI X1400 w/12K8 showing as 512K?

My new T60 came with the 128MB X1400, but when I check its properties it is showing 512MB; is that simply the on-board memory and the "shared" memory from my 2 GB Ram showing up? Thanks, Cory :?

It's the Hypermemory shared by the system RAM, the x1400 on T60 has 128M dedicated video RAM on board, and can share up to 384M system RAM if needed.

btw: "Hypermemory" is ATI's term of using shared memory.
