System Update problems

There are certain windows updates (hotfix among them) that appear once again when I use the System Update application as if they haven´t been instaled previously, something similar is happening with the other sister application: Sofware Instaler, there are a lot of updates checked to install, I install them manually because de system isn´t installing them automaticaly the system says they were installed satisfactorily and then reapear as if they weren´t.... Somebody could give me a hand to fix this problem?
