Linux T60 trackpad button Help!

I currently have Red Hat Enterprise WS on my Thinkpad T60. The only annoying thing is that the trackpad has that sensitive button that works when you tap the trackpad with your finger. The button just gets in my way when I try to open programs & windows. Does anyone know how i can disable this button in linux?
