Flickering Screen?

I've noticed with my T60 that when I'm running on batteries at the max battery life setting, I get a flicker in my screen every now and again. The screen seems to loose power for maybe half a second and then it powers back on. I don't have this problem when running on AC power though. Just wondering what the problem might be?

My settings are all the factory defaults for power management with the battery. I just got mine on Monday and have seen no flicker with or without the power cord. Mine is the 14" screen. Have you tried resetting it down from maximum battery life to see if there is any difference?
