3rd party Memory

#1 Post by steveg47 » Sat Nov 11, 2006 7:09 pm

I would like to identify what 3rd party memory has been used successfully with the T60. Please include the manufacturer, description, part no, where purchased, price paid and how long you have had it installed. If you've had bad experiences with some memory that info would also be helpful.

Patriot Memory - 1GB DDR2 PC5300, 667 mhz, P2D21G6672S. Paid 75 at a Frys in Sunnyvale. I got it in late August, and have been waiting for the prices to come back down so I can get another one and have a matching pair.

At first I thought it was contributing to a problem I had while playing 3D games, but it turned out to be a video driver issue.
