Good deal, if I were in the market for a workstation laptop, I'd probably bite.

It sure is a very good price, and I would definitively consider buying it if :

1) it had bluetooth and fingerprint reader
2) I did not have to go through French customs, and thus pay French VAT and custom taxes.

But for anyone in the US, jump on that one

My speculation is that these T4*p's are having a tough time selling because people don't want to pay $1500+ for a centrino system when they can get a pretty decently equipped C2D T60 with SXGA+ for that price.

T60 doesn't has UXGA and most important a FireGL GPU. huge different on 3d graphing

here is a spec sheet on this thinkpad..

http://www.spci.com/tuckalumni/pdf/2668C4U.pdf

it seems to be a good deal especially for the now apparently discontinued UXGA display..

Nirvana,

If you'd like to sell this laptop, I'm seriously interested. As a member of the forum since it's beginning Bill Morrow can vouch for me as we've had multiple transactions over the years. I would however, prefer to have Bill broker the deal for the benefit and protection of both of us.

Best regards,
Frank Ponte
