IBM Auto/Air DC car adapter
IBM Auto/Air DC car adapter
Hi.
I wanna buy a IBM Auto/Air DC car adapter cheap.
This is what I'm looking for. http://www.blocket.se/vi/9999295.htm?ca=23_3_s
But it's too expensive for me.
600kr is 83 USD.
I checked ebay.com but I just find universal ones. I don't wanna buy a universal adapter, because one of those crappy things broke my T43's mainboard, so I had to use the warranty. Then I got a new original ac adapter, and the laptop works fine.
So, where do I find one of these IBM Auto/Air DC car adapter cheap?
I just want IBM original. NOT a crappy universal one. Is it possible to get it cheaper than 80USD?

IBM made a "universal AC/DC" adapter, that uses a
cigarette lighter male plug, and puts out 16v w/
the yellow tip: p/n 22P9003. It is bulkier than
the one in yr advert. Here's one on eBay:

the guy ships worldwide.

I just use a generic 12vDC -> 240vAC inverter (manufactured by APC), and plug my standard mains adapters into this. Works with IBM, Compaq, HP, Nokia, and anything else that draws less than about 100w I can think of plugging in - including a string of blue LED Christmas lights which decorate the interior my car during Advent/Christmas!
One box, numerous solutions, with the advantage that you only plug geniune IBM plugs into IBM machines, HP into HP, etc.
