Memory upgrade and IBM/Lenovo warranty ?

#1 Post by tetienne » Mon Nov 13, 2006 6:23 am

Hello,

I'm planning to buy 2*1GB Crucial ram for a T43, and sell the 512MB.

Do you think it can create problems with the IBM warranty if i don't have the original memory?

Simple answer: No.

You can get any RAM chip you want as long as it meets the required specs.

I hope so.

I think i'll take Crucial DDR2 PC 4200 CL4 533 Mhz (certified for the computer references), the original one has the same specs.
