Adding bluetooth after the fact?

#1 Post by hawkbox » Wed Nov 15, 2006 4:18 pm

Is it possible? I kind of want to try it out but the fracking canadian thinkpad site blows so much [censored] its not funny, to get a T series with a Core 2 and bluetooth means you need to spend 3400 dollars. So can I manually add one in after the fact or am I just screwed?

Also, tell me what you think of ThinkPad T60

Part Number: 2007GCU If its any good or not?

Thanks Guys.

You can't really add it after the fact...it is unsupported, there will be no bluetooth status light...

You can get a USB bluetooth adapter, and use that however.

Be aware some external USB adapters can interfere with some things on the 2.4Ghz spectrum....including your wireless network card, which runs on thati

actually. you probably can but you're going to need a new monitor cable, and the actual bluetooth module. if you want that bluetooth lighted icon thing, you're going to have to buy those pieces too i believe.
