T42 wireless on windows 2000

I don't know if there people other than me still use windows 2000 on T42. Here is my problem: I got the wireless working using static configuration. There is no app to detect wireless automatically or wireless connection profile selector etc for me. This is really painful.

But in XP, the wireless works very well.

Anyone has a solution?

It's pretty long since i used Win2000 and never really used Win200 with wireless, but i think the native wireless support in Windows 2000 is pretty limited. Have you tried IBM Access Connections to control your wireless? That would give you profiles and lot of more options.
