#1 Post by srkumar1946 » Wed Nov 15, 2006 10:47 pm

Hello friends,
will anyone in this forum tell what will be the result if the cmos battery red and black wires are connected with reverse polarity to the systemboard in a A21M 2628G2U computer.will it fry the cmos chip or will it corrupt the data in the chip?if yes, what is the solution for this problem?i am asking this since i connected the wires with reverse polarity to the MOBO when the wires came out of the white connector of the battery;and my laptop is not powering up at all.or the problem is somewhere else?
thanks and regards
ramkumar
