Not to put yourself in a position for potential harm to your system, but did you happen to check whether or not the install process caused any problems?

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.

Well I un-installed the previous version first, then installed this one, my un-installs appear to all be there, but then I didn't have a problem with the previous one either. This version on my computer is just about twice the size of the previous version. As I recall the previous version was 59 MB or so. But then I'm also running the 2.01 ROM, again without any apparent problems.
ThinkPad T60p T7600 4 GB RAM 320 GB 7200 RPM HD Vista Ultimate Service Pack 2 5.1 4.7 4.2 4.6 5.8It seems that by now Lenovo has dissabled de PC-Doctor 5 update page... the link is down.
What could have happened? new bugs found? No fixed version posted? Why are people trying to solve problems in the rush, with such a wrong outcome? What is it happening with those pundits?
Some malicious attitude virus from microsoft (remember all vista delays, IE7 malfunction, wrong solutions from Richmond...) has attacked everybody in the IT industry?
It is time for those boys to wake up and start doing things well... or all of us are going to loose time and money trying to fix those problems. Be cautious with Vista, PC-Doc and all the new software... meanwhile old goodfaith Windows XP, Office 2003 and Internet explorer 6 will be my favorite applications, until service pack 2 for new software be released... that will be in about 2 years...

What happens if you go here: http://www.lenovo.com/us/en/
Then at the top of the page under Lenovo click Support & Downloads.
On the next page enter 2613 at enter a product number.
Choose the T60p (bottom choice) on this page,
In the second box click on Downloads and drivers
It should be the fourth item listed on this page, click on it. (that should be the page I gave)
pcd5setup_4329.exe
Can you get it going that way, if not can you download the BIOS from the first item on the previous page?
I'm wondering if they have a problem with your location, or if there is a cookie that you are missing? Going the above way should fix a cookie problem if that's it.
