I am anxious with my T42 to see how this stands up. It really made my day when I found out the T42 72W power adaptor and the ultrabay slim stuff works! =) I bought a wacom graphire 4 USB tablet a few days ago, and I got tired of it. Finally succumbed and bought a X41 tablet. I shall let you folks know how it goes!

(PS Worried about a grainy screen!)...

PPS -->Didn't want an X60 tablet b/c -->Too $$. Useless features (for me, nothing notable that I would use b/c my T42 is just fine). Too powerful processor (probably a power hog), and the old one is cooler b/c it works with my accessories! =)

Is this a 1866-6TU? Exactly the same configuration as mine!
One tip here is to do defragmentation regularly, it really helps a lot!
Also don't panic at the clicking sound coming from the harddrive.:)

I just picked up my Tablet less than a month ago. I'm sure you'll like it. So far, the only problem I have is that I wasn't expecting it to be as underpowered as it is. I had high hopes of doing some PHP coding work on it, but finding my patience level running thin.

Other than that, I love, the concept of the tablet, and its practical uses. Tell us how it goes once you get all settled in and inking.

Just curious, did you say you paid 1499?

So I'm happy to report that this must be one of the finest laptops ever made! Not surprising!!

The build quality is ABSOLUTELY EXCEPTIONAL. (FYI, I am comparing this to my T42). This laptop feels even tougher and more durable than my T42. The screen has more contrast and is about the same brightness. (People need to stop complaining that tablet screens are grainy, b/c they are NOT by ANY means).

The keyboard, although smaller, is completely usable and has an even better feel than the T42. Don't get me wrong, I love my T42, but this X41 tablet simply blows my mind!

I bought the X41t from thinkpad factory on ebay. Great seller, and a great price for this laptop. I also received TWO DVD burners (probably by accident as one was already in the dock). Anybody want to buy it off me?

Anyways, loving this machine!

ONLY problem: FN+F5 is not working for my wireless. I can't turn off my wireless or turn it back on. I'll try reinstalling active-connections again.
