Old T40 got repaired!

#1 Post by kookaburra » Fri Nov 17, 2006 12:44 pm

<singapore>

last Sunday, the mainboard of my friend's old T42 was malfunctioned. That day was just the last day of the three years warranty and the service centre doen't work that day. Haha poor guy:D

He sent it this Monday. However, the service centre said the "expire" is due to their "no service on sunday" and changed the mainboard for the lucky guy!!! :roll: :roll: So nice

(maybe there are too many T40 mainboards left :P...... )

I seriously hope so. I'm planning on buying a 300-400 dollar t40 for the family soon.

walmart advertises their 380 dollar laptop and everyone goes crazy. I'm astonished at the fact that they pulled this off consdering you can buy a nice x31 or t40 similarly priced.

Awesome for the lucky bugger though :)
