weird display problem - gray dot below the screen (lamp?)

I have a very strange thing, which came up today.
A blurry gray dot in the middle of the screen about 3x3 pixels, but
it's located on the layer below the TFT. It looks like as if
something is stuck on the lamp behind the screen. Obviously
it's extremely annoying... I called customer support and will
be showing this machine to local service support tomorrow.
I just wonder what in the world that could be and if somebody
have seen something like that before....

Sometimes people report a dot in the middle of their screen if they accidently press the middle mouse button while the UltraNav software isn't correctly configured.

Try pressing the middle button (above the mouse pad) and see if it goes away.
