i almost started a new topic, but i'll just continue my rant here:

can anyone tell me why would thinkpad not want to offer on their T series the options for a built in camera(not just a toy), firewire, SD or CF memory card slots. do they really want to keep the T series just for "serious" "business" people? if they really are the best laptops out, which many, including myself i think, think they are, why slack on those things.

then again i dont know why apple or any laptop makers for that matter don't offer IPS Flexview screens, especially since apple is "supposed" to be for artists or creatives or whatever.

If you want to build in a camera you either have to make the entire laptop bigger just to make a small portion of it bigger (or I guess put in a hump), and it won't be a very good camera. The top line thinkpads are all designed to be as mobile as possible, so they trim the fat.
