Should I update BIOS?

I have Bios 1.04. I just called tech support about something and she said to upgrade to 1.10. Are there reasons not to do that? I thought I remembered reading here about some problems, but can't find the posts. thank you

Bought a T430 that's still on BIOS v2.61. Latest version is 2.72. I know that large jumps forward in BIOS versions can sometimes result in problems....

T430 i5-3320M should be 3.30 GHz, but BIOS shows 2.60Ghz

Per ThinkWiki ( ), Core i5-3320M CPU runs at 3.30 GHz.

But BIOS shows 2.60 GHz:

What am I missing?
