Every time I boot up Windows Access Connections starts one of its little progress indicator windows that says 'Connecting', even though I have all of the following unchecked:
"Allow wireless connection at Windows logon"
"Enable automatic wireless LAN radio control"
"Enable automatic location switching"
I have one wireless profile, for school, but I don't often take the laptop there, and not it is trying to connect to that location every time I start Windows at home, where there is no wireless connection and I have a wired LAN. How do I get it to stop doing this?
Access Connections starts on Startup even when not asked

The quick way is disabling its startup process inthe startup list, type "msconfig" in the Run dialog and go to the last tab. Most of the entries there have trackbacks to the executables and you can re-enable them later if you want.

I don't want to disable the Access Connections! That would defeat my purposes. I just don't want it automatically trying to connect to the wireless profile I have in there every time I boot up. According to the options I've set, by rights it should not try to connect automatically, but should leave me to connect manually if I want to, but it is still trying to connect automatically on login anyways despite the options I've set which I listed in my first post. Why is that? It's puzzling.christopher_wolf wrote:The quick way is disabling its startup process inthe startup list, type "msconfig" in the Run dialog and go to the last tab.
