Hi, I'm looking at the specs for a 2007-FUG model T60 (T5600, 14"1400x1050, X1400, 1Gb, 80Gb) and they quote 6.8 hours !
Anyone have some real-life numbers to back this up ?
Probably screen on dimmest setting, all radios off, and not much hdd activity ?
2007-FUG battery life ?

re:
Hi there,
i've got that one aswell, the battery is running 6.8h if you're using office without cd, music, wireless, screen down to zero/one bar and of course no battery draining stuff plugged in. I'm using it like this all day long at the university and it's going really well bcs the screen is still really bright, compared with my apple powerbook which switches of the light totally if i go to the lowest setting.
if you like to listen music or do some internet reserch while working then you've got about 5.5h.. actually it also depends on, which bios you're using i've updated mine to 2.01 and the battery usage went down aswell... so you see the 6.8 is reachable:) but if you need more then you can get yourself the extended battery replacing the dvd-rom from your thinkpad then you even can work like 10 hours, till your eyes gets red and sick:D but interesstingly the time counting from IBM/LENOVO is really good, bcs they keep their words not like some other companies where you have to expect one hour less time of what's written.....
