Thinkvangate Client Security Setup Problems

#1 Post by Wolfie » Tue Nov 21, 2006 12:20 pm

Hi,

I have an X60s laptop. I use the fingerprint reader. Everything worked fine for a couple of months when Client Secuirty Setup Wizard started popping up every time I boot up. When I try going through the setup process again, it runs into an error setting up the system keys. As a result, the wizard continues to pop up.

Besides this annoyance, everything seems to be running fine. I still log on with the fingerprint reader and everything. I tried emailing Lenovo but received no answer. Any advice?

Have you tried simply removing the software from your system?, then reinstalling?

No I haven't. I'm afraid of messing something up so I was hoping for something easier.

I installed the CSS7.0. Still have a problem. I get to the message "Your security settings have been configured. However, one or more setup operations failed." The operation that failed is in "creating system keys". Any help?
