T42 2379DXU LCD SHADOW

Hello everyone just got my new thinkpad last week on friday i noticed something though. When having a solid color wallpaper like grey or black then i noticed shadows appear under and on above folders,IE windows, anything thats pretty much open thats not taking the whole screen
any sugesstions.
