T60p Express Models

14 inch T60p with core 2 duo (all top spec. with 1G of RAM) is going to be listed at around 120,000 NT in Taiwan, which is about 3600 USD. The same model is about 3100 USD in Japan.

I took a look at Lenovo US site's T60p express models, I picked all the exact component as the T60p in Taiwan and Japan (plus 2G of 667 RAM), and it came out around 2600 USD.

Besides the OS (English vs Chinese), and the obvious markup on Taiwan's T60p, are the express T60ps inferior in anyway? Thanks.

I thought of the same thing, the only difference should be the warranty right? The machine itself should be identical with no missing hardware or software features?

personally i wont be surprised if USA prices are lower.

My cousin was trying to buy a dell in China, and it was almost twice the price of the same crap here in the USA

I don't think the express models have an international warranty so only warranty service is the US and maybe canada.
