When on AC my X60s often comes out of standby accidently(lid closed). When I open the lid I can see a Windows popup 'Not enough system resources to close API. What is going on? Never had this on any other of my notebooks.

That's not it. I used to see on my old (and not fondly remembered!) Dell Latitude C400 with 512 MB as well.gunston wrote:2GB ram, too much memory resources.

I believe it's a misbehaving driver that causes this. I do see it from time to time as well on my X31, but probably only once every few months or so, so less than 1% of the time.
Have you tried this update from Microsoft: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/909095 ? I had never been able to hibernate on any of my thinkpads, but this update fixed the problem for me.
