X24 Operating Manual ???

#1 Post by menoknow » Sat Nov 25, 2006 5:50 pm

I bought a used X24 2662 MPU. The previous owner had emptied it completely and then loaded it wth Microsoft XP Home and a few other programs. He did not however install the IBM Thinkpad Help and operating instructions that would be accesssed by pushing the "THINKPAD" key at the top left on the key board. Here is the real problem. I am totally clueless and without the operating instructions/help software, I'm lost. Can this be loaded now? How? Again, to emphasize.... I am clueless when it comes to using this laptop. I have used an Imac for about 6 years ... for websurfing and emails. HELP and thanks.

Actually I had found that. What I would like to be able to do is load the original manual and the help menu back onto the computer so that the "THINKPAD" button activates it, and all the related topics, as it did originally. Thanks for the reply and any further help.

Download and install Access ThinkPad online User's Guide for Windows from here.

Another useful bookmark for your system is 2662-MPU
Downloads and drivers site.

Hope it helps.
