ultra rapid restore 4.0

Hi,

I've finally got my drive restored to factory state (and Yes, I've made
7 recovery cds) and now I see there is no rescue & recovery 3.1 installed.
Also, I only have Ultra rapid restore 4.0 for backups.

Should I upgrade to R&R 3.1?
I've read many of you had problems after upgrade.

How about functionality? Do I loose a lot ?
I just need one base backup + incremental and ability to get file/system
restore from any of incremental backups.

Rescue and Recovery 3.1 is working fine for me with no problems.
