Does anyone else experience this problem and/or know what to do about it? When scrolling with the trackpoint in Word on my T60 (core duo), I can only scroll as far as the current position of the cursor. At that point, the scrolling stops and the document line containing the cursor flickers. This only occurs when the cursor has not been moved up or down since the last edit. That is, if I edit a line of text, then move the cursor to the next line, then scroll with the trackpoint: no problem. The problem can also be avoided by waiting 5 sec or so between editing and scrolling. Scrolling with the scroll bar is not problematic, nor is scrolling with the scroll wheel on my mouse. The problem occurs in Word but not Wordpad. I did not experience the problem on my last Thinkpad, a T21 pentium III.
I know this sounds like a trivial problem -and it is- but when spending all day in Word it gets pretty darn annoying.
Any suggestions? Thanks
