WTB: ThinkPad R52 and T4x

#1 Post by thePCxp » Wed Nov 29, 2006 3:18 am

I would like to buy a ThinkPad R52 and It must be a 14" inch model. And I would also like to buy a ThinkPad T4x, It can be a T41/p, T42/p, or T43/p. I also don't care what condition they're in. :)
ThinkPads: R51 (1836HAU), T41 (23737FU), 600 (264551U), T60 (2008VRQ), T500 (224255U)

I Love (all) ThinkPads...ThinkPad forever!

I have an absolutely mint R52 with warranty until 10/2008 if you're interested.

It was a Celeron model that I upgraded to Dothan 1.6GHz.

I'd need $500 to part with - let me know if it's too much machine for your needs.

All spec's below

IBM R52 Model 1860-25U
Celeron® M 350 1.3GHz (upgraded to Pentium M 725A 1.6Ghz Dothan)
256MB (upgraded to 512MB)
14.1" XGA
40GB (upgraded to 5400 RPM)
CD drive
Intel Wireless B/G (Intel)
Modem
Ethernet
1394 (Firewire)
Security Chip
A/C Adapter
6 Cell Battery (barely used)

Hate to hijack this thread a little bit but to thePCXP, I have a machine that I did the same upgrades as Ed (in fact I got the processor from him) with the exception of installing 760M ram and a 7k60 Hd same processor upgrade, I highly recommend ed's machine, the wireless card is great and connects better than my t60 and t30.
