Getting my T60 tomorrow - I have 2 software questions

Hi, so my T60 is coming in tomorrow and I wanna get it up and running quickly since my old laptop is dying.

First question(s): I know it comes with a home version of Symantec right? I plan on installing Symantec Corporate 10.0. What is the best way to uninstall the original version? Do i need to go to their website and use some uninstaller or can i just uninstall from the add/delete program list? What have people's experiences been with Symantec Corporate edition on the T?

Second question: Asides from google crap, what else should I seriously consider uninstalling so that my laptop runs faster?

Yes, to my experience Symantec is horrible software. Even using their special uninstaller I wasn't able to remove it completely (there was a missing kernel driver referenced from the registry).

Does anyone have a link to the website that uninstalls it for you? Im doing the same thing installing corporate edition when mine arrives next week? I dont want to do it manually so if theres a link that would be great.
