Question about upgrading hard drive

#1 Post by mlli4 » Wed Nov 29, 2006 11:17 pm

I have a T42. Recently I bought a new hard disk to replace the old 40GB one. I notice there is some metal cover on my original hard disk to protect the hard drive circuit . Should I remove it and install it on my new driver? Do I need any special tool to do that?

Thanks a lot.

Yes, it is called caddy and you should put it on your new hard drive.
