After setting up my own power management scheme, I notice the following:
If the fan is running and I switch to one of the TP pre-programed power schemes (Thinkpad Default, Maximum Performance etc.) my fan will shut off and not continue to run for a while. If I switch back to my power scheme it will usually kick back on.
My scheme on battery is processor low, fan balance all perameters. On AC cpu is set to adaptive and fan in set to balance all perameters. Does this seem like normal behavior, or is there something else going on here?
Thanks,
Sean
