Pink "blob" on t41 LCD!?

Ok,
here's a wierd one.

Quite frequently, when I am web browsing or doing something not graphic intensive, I get a small pink orb on my screen.

After a moment, it will double in size, and if I refresh, move my cursor over it or switch pages, it goes away for a brief time, only to return.

I think it might be a driver issue, but i have never seen anything like that before.

Any ideas??
