I have a question on mainboard upgrade for my x40

Both of usb port on my x40 is broken and I will have to change a whole motherboard.
Currently my cpu is 1.3ghz, but I think I would like to buy the mother board that has Dothan cpu which has 1.4 -1.6 ghz.
I am not sure if the motherboard would fit my thinkpad. Please comment.

Hi,

I believe all X40/X41 motherboards work. I had a 1.2GHz MB, but it burnt out, and I bought a 1.5GHz. It worked fine.
