FT: A21p 1600x1200 P3 850 512MB 32G DVD Docking station

Hi everybody -

This is my first post here but I've been hanging around for a few months.
I have this IBM A21p for trade:
15' 1600x1200 no dead pixels
P3 850 MHz
512MB RAM (maxed out as far as I know)
32G hard drive (the original that comes with it, don't know the brand)
DVD
The original docking station (with a slot for a graphics card)

Item location is Ames, IA.

I would grade the laptop as a B: there is a 8" scratch on the palm rest and a few scuffs overall, though as you know the A21p is a tank. No dead pixels. Batery holds about 1/2 hour. I would really like to keep it for myself but can't deal with the superhigh resolution (eyes not too good), although I know the screen is insanely nice. Again, I would love to post some pictures but don't know how.

Also, I am listing this for trade because finding something nice and not too expensive is kind of difficult right now. I want to trade with somebody who appreciates and wants the extra high resolution. Since I'm not so picky about it myself, I'd say bring comparable offers and I will consider them.
15-inch screens preferred. This laptop is a complete package and I don't want to tinker with and upgrade another one either. Also, I don't need a docking station.

Of course, good price offers may be entertained as well. But they have to be in excess of a decent trade machine, since a trade would save me the need to actually find a good Thinkpad that is equivalent to this one.

Thanks for reading -
Georgi

Welcome to the Forum Georgi.

You can use any of the free photo hosting sites to share your photos, www.Flickr.com is a good one.

For the record, the A21P doesn't have a Flexview (IPS) display. The Flexview display was first offered on the A30P.

Hi mods,
Please close this thread.

I found a way to make scaling work in Windows 2000 - adjusting the DPI plus a few adjustments should do the trick. With that I am best off keeping this sweet machine for a few years :). I will need nothing more for productivity apps, coding and browsing.

Thank you everybody for checking out this thread :).
