T42p Chipset or HD problems?

#1 Post by Cecilia76 » Sun Dec 03, 2006 5:24 am

Hallo,

I have a T42p (2373HTG) since 2004. Recently I formatted it and installed on it Windows XP clean (not used preload CD).
After that I downloaded all the drivers for my TP and installed them.
Everything seems to be ok but sometimes (randomly) while I am moving the mouse cursor, it stops for a while (less than .5 second) and than moves again.
Could be a problem of the chipset drivers? Or maybe my HD could have some problems?
What should I install to manage chipset correctly?

Thanks a lot, Cec.

Did you installed the chipset installer before you installed the Trackpoint/Ultranav driver?

I use my Thinkpads with fressh Windows install and never had any problems.

Well,

I am not sure to have installed the chipset *before* the UNav.
Anything I can do?

Thanks a lot, C.
