Bought a new T4X 9 cell on eBay for $60 - good?

#1 Post by simms » Sun Dec 03, 2006 9:14 pm

I just bought one off eBay from this person:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... &rd=1&rd=1

I checked that it's the Sanyo 7.2Ah battery - not a 6.6Ah one. I made a best offer of $49 + $11 shipping (I am the buyer listed under purchases).

Good deal?

Indeed, you got it at a nice price.

Remember to look at how many cycles it has once recieved, it should be ZERO.

what a coincidence. I was looking at that exact same auction, but was skeptical. When you get it, can you verify if it's all legit and as advertised? Supposedly he has 9 of them. Thanks!

Actually he's a she... I emailed back and forth to verify the part number because it says 92P1077 in the title etc..

I'll keep you posted. What were you going to offer? ;)

I also checked her other feedback, similar listing, everyone left a positive.

Here's a past auction where she got feedback already, same listing and specs: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0025408607

I think it's a great deal, I'm flying out on a long plane ride and could really use it. :)

:D Thanks for the clarification on the seller! Not sure what I would have bid, but it's good to know yours was accepted at $49.

I do a lot of travelling as well, and decided to just buy the Thinkpad AC/DC adapter to use in the airplanes, cars, etc. (Which I might add, is a lot bigger and heavier than I was expecting)

Anyways, please do keep me posted. I can always use another 9cell to the T.

You got it. I felt bad if I were to go any lower than $49... there was another auction that ended at $56 incl shipping, but I figured for a 7.2Ah cell it would be OK to pay a bit more.

I already have two AC adapters, a 6 cell, and now this one.. all to please my lappie... not to mention a 7K100 100GB 7200rpm HDD along with the 1GB total memory... :D

Would anyone else like to comment on the price?

Price sounds great but I'm real curious to see what the cycle count and manufacture date on it turns out to be. If it's fairly new and has a zero cycle count, then it's a great deal.

If it turns out to be such, then it is indeed quite a good deal. :)

Ohh! I was looking at the 9 cell and Ultra Bay Batteries on the Lenovo website the other day. They are a bit out of my price range, but maybe one of these will serve me just as well?

Are there any left? :)

Great price, but I don't like sellers with BS feedback. "Oh, I was out of town..." Blah, blah, blah.
