Hello,
I am trying to decide between a pre-configured ThinkPad Z61t at Costco or just getting one off of the Lenovo site, as they have a pretty good sale. Any advice? Here are the specs from Costco:
Lenovo ThinkPad Z61t (PRO) 14.1" Core Duo T2300e 1.66GHz 512MB 80GB DVDRW
* Intel Core™ Duo processor T2300e at 1.66GHz
* 677MHz front side bus speed
* 512MB DDR2 SDRAM (shared) memory upgradeable to 2GB
* 80GB SATA hard drive (5400 RPM)
* DVDRW Drive 24x max
* 14.1" TFT LCD display; 1280 x 800 max resolution
* Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 (shared)
* Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG
3-in-1 Card Reader
Fingerprint Reader
Only 4.2 Pounds
$1,179.99
They have that awesome 180 day return policy (unbeatable), but I am concerned that it is not a Core 2 Duo processor, and does not have a lot of memory or a larger hard drive. I am a student, and will mostly use it for writing papers, multitasking many internet applications at once (other papers), photos. I want something under 5lbs. Thanks!!!!!
ThinkPad Z61t Costco model- a good buy?

The display resolution is fairly low.
