Will Broadcom mini-PCI WiFi work in T-series?

#1 Post by underclocker » Mon Dec 04, 2006 9:19 am

I'm wondering if there has been any success in getting a Broadcom internal wifi adapter to work in a T series - a T43 to be specific.

I am familiar with the no-1802 utility, but was wondering if it would work without this hack.

Are Broadcom adapters affected by the IBM BIOS lockout?

I have had trouble with a T43 and the included Intel 2200B/G adapter since new. IBM replaced it once and performance is still far worse than any other adapter or computer I've used. The same model adapter in other machines seems better. I just want to swap in something that I know works well.
