FS: ThinkPad 390X Parts (or WTB 390X motherboard)

#1 Post by AlphaKilo470 » Tue Dec 05, 2006 9:40 pm

I'm looking to sell the parts form my dead ThinkPad 390X. The motherboard is friend but everything else is perfectly good and for sale. This includes:

Plastics (near mint condition for everything)
14.1" LCD
hard drive caddy and connector
450mhz Pentium III MMC2
battery (holds charge but untested for run times)
CD/Floppy combo unit
port, minipci and ram covers
minipci modem
great condition keyboard
anything else a 390X would have in it.

The only parts I don't have are the hard drive, ram and ac adapter. If anyone is interested in anything, let me know, thanks.

I'm also on the lookout for a working motherboard if nobody is interested in buying any of the parts. I either want to fix this machine or get rid of it.

What kind of price are you looking at?

I know that I could definately use that 14.1" LCD.

Make an offer. I'm open to money offers and trades. You might want to leverage to your advantage the fact that I'm still ticked over the incident that killed it along with IBM's blowing me off about it and the more I see it, the more I'm tempted to slam it into the concrete. I've used up all the stress it generated but still have plenty left thanks to some disgruntled customers at work so I need to get this thing out while it's still in a condition that I can sell it (or it's parts) for profit.

You know, even if you can't find a mobo, imagine how much fun you'll have with the PIII and one of your 600Es...
