Im not too sure how the product is, but their right on the price. To configure the same widescreen as my regular T60 it would cost me almost 1000 dollars more. Its getting to a point where the lenovo product may not justify the price. Its a good machine but its a 1300 dollar machine not a 1800-2000 dollar machine.

$185 more than the Z61m does not seem unreasonable to me to get a T series ThinkPad -- and one that's a pound lighter than the Z, too.

Now, one could argue that the Zs are unreasonably priced in the first place, but I haven't seen too many complaints about those on these forums ...
