wheel mouse/middle button function and ultranav

Is it possible to emulate the function of pressing down the middle button, i.e. the wheel button, on a wheel mouse? I know about how to do the scrolling part, but what about the rest if one wants to use only the built-in pointing devices?

(using T30 temporarily right now. T42p on its way... )

If you use synaptics driver instead of IBM ultranav driver, it should do what you what.
